&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you for your reply. It’s very helpful to know that you're using the Chromecast with Google TV and that the issue started recently.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The options you're looking for, such as "Clear cache," are located within the system settings rather than on the main apps screen. I recommend starting by clearing the cache for YouTube by following these steps:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;From the Google TV home screen, go to your profile icon in the top right and select Settings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Select Apps, and then select See all apps.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Scroll down and select YouTube.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Select Clear cache and hit Ok.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can also restart your Chromecast with Google TV by unplugging the device from the power source for one minute and then plugging it back in.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
