topic Chromecast won’t connect to HDMI in Streaming

Basically, whenever I try connecting my Chromecast to my tv, it won’t connect to the HDMI. If I factory reset it, then it will go black showing “chromecast…” then completely glitch out like the way a computer does when the screen is broken, and “google chr-“ will be shown in the corner but the glitched part cuts the rest of the name off. Then it will quickly go back to no signal. If I just plug it in and plug it back in, then it will just show the “Chromecast…” with the black then go straight to no signal. I have unplugged the whole Chromecast, from the tv and outlet, waiting for 2 minutes before plugging it back in, but it won’t work. It’s not my tv, because I have plugged multiple things into the HDMI port and they have all worked fine. In addition, the Chromecast was working 2 days ago and I haven’t changed anything It’s plugged into or done anything to damage any part of it. Sorry for the bad explanation, it would make more sense with photos. Please help!
