Audio Lag with SteamLink/GeForceNow

Hi,

I have recently bought a Google TV Streamer 4k and everything works fine. Just with GeForce Now and SteamLink there ist an audio lag of approximately 0.5 seconds. I have tried every setting in the apps, in Google TV and in my Samsung TV. Nothing seems to change the delay.

Is there any solution to this problem or are there any fixes planned?

Is the Google TV Streamer connected directly to the TV?
Is there a soundbar or AV receiver connected to the TV?
Are there other devices connected to the soundbar or AV receiver?
Are you using an HDMI-certified 2.1 cable to connect the Google TV Streamer?
How often does this issue happen? (ie: every time you use the app, once a day, occasionally, etc.)
Is the Google TV Streamer connected through Wi-Fi or ethernet?
Do you have any other streaming devices (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV)? If so, does the same issue happen on those devices?

Any additional details you can provide will be very helpful in finding the cause.

My research shows that this is a known problem in the audio stack of the Google TV streamer, that needs to be fixed by Google.

Thanks for your response! To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:

Reboot the Google TV Streamer from the power source:
- Unplug the power cable from the Google TV Streamer.
- Leave it unplugged for one minute.
- Plug the cable back into the Google TV Streamer.
Adjust the audio delay settings on your TV or AVR. You can check the following article for instructions on how to Adjust the audio delay.
Check the output format settings by following these steps:
- At the top right of the TV screen, select All Settings.
- Select Display & Sound > Audio Options > Output Format.
- Under Output Format, select Automatic to allow the system to choose the best format.
