Hello,

What can of voice control can you get with this for you TV? I have an old Chromecast that enables me to turn on/off the TV suing CEC with voice control through my Google Home Mini ..... I'm understanding it has more advanced options for voice control?

Can it turn volume up down & switches inputs as well as turn CEC enabled TVs on/off?

Are there any additional IR functions? I am in the UK and we have Virgin Cable TV box, I was wondering if it was possible to control changing channel on the Virgin Cable TV Box?

With Google assistant you can turn the TV on and off. You can change the volume however that is the Chromecast volume, not the TV volume, meaning the max volume will be hard set by the current TV volume.

You can also cast from several streaming services like Netflix, Disney, Hulu, YouTube, etc.

You can pause playback, resume, skip arbitrary number of minutes.

On some streaming services like HBO you can enable subtitles with voice. On others like Hulu you can't.

I think on Netflix you can even change the audio language with voice.
