Chomecast built in, Cable TV audio is still playing when casting to TV

I have a Hisense 4k tv with built in chromecast. When I was watching Live TV, I tried to cast from my Oculus.

The video came over but the audio from Live TV continued to play.

How can I get the audio on Chromecast to over ride the audio from LiveTV ?

turning off live tv first then casting will work.

**bleep**, i set up my cable tv remote to turn off home theatre receiver and tv, when i press the power switch.
