Chromecast remote is hung/frozen.

I tried resetting the remote by holding the home button whilst inserting the batteries. Also tried the method of holding down the home and back button.

The method of downloading the Android tv remote doesn’t seem to be an option as all my other devices are Apple and the remote isn’t in the App Store.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated?
