Setting up cromecast on my tv

I don't have a smart tv. I am trying to set up cromecast through the app. On my tv it says setting up your tv

Follow the instructions in the Google home app

There are no instructions coming up? How do I set up my tv if it is not a smart tv?

That is the default screen for the Chromecast. You would open the Google Home app, at the top it should say setup new device, click that, and follow the on screen instructions from there.

Hey Helz, watch this video for step-by-step guidance on setting up the device -- this may be easier and more helpful. Since you've provided little details other than you don't have a smart-tv, it's worth mentioning all is for naught if you don't have a secure Wifi setup in your home, CCwGTV requires a secure WiFi network to perform properly.
