Chromecast google TV remote

Chromecast google TV remote had been frozen and solid light on. I had tried to removed the batteries and reinserted. Pass back and home button together but unfortunately not working at all. Then I had downloaded the app but still not working. Please advise how can I solve the issue. Thank you.

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delayed response. Do you still need help with your Chromecast with Google TV Voice Remote? If so, please try to change the batteries and observe the behavior. If the issue still persists, please do a factory reset on your Voice Remote and Chromecast device.
