Chromecast constantly restarting

Chromecast with Google TV has suddenly begun to restart every few minutes. Anyone know what the issue could be?

Use the factory supplied power supply.

Do not power the Chromecast device from the TV USB port

Reboot the Chromecast device - unplug it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.

Try using another compatible power supply.

Thanks for your reply. I am using the factory supplied power supply. It is plugged into an HDMI port on the TV. I have rebooted the Chromecast device several times. I have also tried a different power supply. Nothing has worked.

Hard reset the Chromecast device and perform the entire setup procedure again. Observe to he behaviour.
