Chromecast setup

My config:

Android with Home installed and internet connectivity.

Sony non Smart TV

I have a home wifi net that is NOT connected to internet.

When installing chromecast stops with message to Check Internet Connectivity.

Need advice on correct steps to use Home on my phone to setup chromecast so i can cast to the tv from my phone.

I'm sorry, but Chromecast devices require a network that IS connected to the Internet to function. Even when you are just mirroring your phone.

There is no way around that.

You may be able to do this with a Miracast device; but you'll find a lot less apps work with them and some of them still require access to the internet so do your research.
