Nest IQ Outdoor IR LED's

Can anyone tell me whether you can turn the IR LED's off in night mode on the new Nest IQ Outdoor camera? I ask because I need to protect the camera with a polycarbonate cover and the IR would be reflected back off this. I plan to use a separate IR light to allow the camera to work in night mode.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Google Nest cameras night vision uses high-power infrared (IR) LEDs to illuminate the scene when it's dark. Turning off the IR LED is a feature that is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
