Google Home quit playing Apple Music suddenly

I’ve always used google home to play music on Apple Music. As of a few days ago, it no longer will play. It says it’s going to play then just doesn’t.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A few things: which Nest speaker? If you have multiple Nest speakers, is it happening to all of them? Have you tried playing music using YouTube music to isolate the issue?

You can reboot your Nest speaker to refresh your device and see if it will make a difference, then let us know by updating this thread.

Thx for the reply. I rebooted and it still won’t play Apple Music. It plays YouTube just fine.

Also, we just have one Google home device.

Hi there,

Thanks for the response and for trying that step. You can unlink and relink Apple Music then try the feature again. If that did not work go ahead and do a full reset then set up your Google Home again as a new device and relink Apple Music.
