Best and google home speaker connection issues

One child moved out and left his speakers for the other child. He does not know the password for the specific WiFi that connects the nest. A hard reset was suggested but I don’t see how to do it. The small google home speaker was working yesterday and then it just said not connected. The nest has a qr code on the front but even when I link it - it wants some password I don’t have to that specific device name. It said it would also send me a password reset that is totally separate from that password ( this one is to sign in to Google home but it has not and it says that it has . I have requested it 3 times from 2 different google accounts ….

I cannot connect either device to my WiFi!! Help me bc I’m tired and I just want to gtb!!!

Having one Nest speaker is great but having two ― is awesome! Let's get it connected.

Question: what Nest speaker do you have there? The factory reset is needed to revert it back to its default settings since we're trying to get it connected to a new WiFi connection. Click this guide on how to do a reset depending on the device you have there.

After the reset, open this link for you to follow the steps in setting it up and its requirements. Don't forget to choose the phone you're using since it has some slight difference between iOS and Android.
