I'm sorry for the delayed response. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

Nest Thermostats don’t support stranded wires; they require solid-core copper wires. Usually, these types have low-voltage wires (each of the wires is a bundle of smaller wires). Please contact a local pro to have your thermostat wiring replaced or adapted with solid core wire so it can work with Nest thermostats.
