Google Home devices are acting jankier than ever!

So I requested to be in the preview thing and I waited and waited but you guys never invited me in to it but I will say that I've been asking it to turn my bedroom owl lamp off and on and instead turns all of the lights off and on. Keeps going from Away to Home which causes the lights to go off and on. And there's just been several weird things. Honestly I think I have malware or ransomware of some sort on my phone or in my account because I've also had money stolen out of one of my banking accounts recently and the phone kept freezing up and doing weird things. So I'm just not too impressed with any of it and kind of wish I'd gone with Alexa instead.

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s check what’s going on.: A few things: what command are you using to control your owl lamp? Was this working before? Were there any recent changes made before the issue started? Are you able to control the light using the Google Home app?

Try the commands on this link to control your light and let me know if this worked for you. On the free preview concern could you check the step below if this is how you requested to join?

In the Google Home app , tap Settings under "General", tap Public Preview.
Tap Request invite.

Check this article for more details. For your phone issue. I would suggest you contact your phone manufacturer and try some of their troubleshooting.
