Home/Away v Existing Routines

Hi, I have several routines for devices, that are set-up as “day-long”. (Lamps, plugs etc) they come on and off at various times throughout the day.

I’ve set my Away routine to switch off several of the devices included in the above routines. This works fine.

When I return home I’d just like the routines to restart where they are and the devices in whichever “on/off state” they were in when I left.

For example:

A lamp is set to turn on at 8am and switch off at 11am, then back on again at 4pm and off at 10pm. Routine “Lamp”

If I leave the house, the lamp is set to switch off. Which it does.

When I return, I’d like it to be on/off depending on the rules of the “Lamp” routine. Can this be done?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your lights, but, this feature is not yet available. If you use home away routines, it will supersede all the timed routines. We're always looking for ways to improve. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
