can’t connect to university wifi

I am having problems connecting my Nest Mini to my university’s wifi network. I still need to register my device with the university, but that requires a MAC address which i can’t access because i need a wifi connection to access that. I can’t connect to the guest wifi nor my personal hotspot. I’m at a loss and don’t know what else to try.

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. For you to get the MAC address you need to attempt to set up your device. Check the steps below.

How to locate the Google Nest or Home device's MAC address:

From the Connect to Wi-Fi screen, tap the More menu located in the top right corner.
Tap Show MAC Address.
