Google Nest Thermostat wiring

Before I purchased my Nest thermostat, I did the compatibility checker. It gave me a thumbs up on all three options and I purchased the basic Nest. Now I have no idea what to do with W2 wire. I plugged the Rc wire into R and I just left the W2 wire unattached. So, only five of my six wires are plugged into the Nest. In the event it is relevant, there was a jumper wire from R to Rc, and from W2 to Y2 on my existing set up. What should I do with the W2 wire? Thanks

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Depending on your system, you may need to ensure the W2 wire is attached. Do you happen to know what type of HVAC system you have?
