BBC iPlayer app on Chromecast with Google TV HD

Does anyone know when will I be able to install the BBC iPlayer app on my Chromecast with Google TV HD?

From what I can tell the 4K version is certified by the BBC but the HD version is not currently certified by them.

Thanks for reaching out. We don't have any news to share about that but, we’re working with BBC to bring the BBC iPlayer app to Chromecast with Google TV (HD).

In the meantime, you can cast BBC content from the mobile app. Check this support article to see how you can cast video from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV.
