I recently bought some nest speakers and I want to hook them up to my Android TV does anyone know how to do that do I do it through Bluetooth?

I have the same question and after a lot of searching I can summarize it as follows: In 2020 buyers were already flabbergasted that TV audio is not possible. Google has said they are working on it and now we are two years and many disappointed buyers further. According to 9to5Google, Google said in August that this feature "should become available in the coming months." As far as I can find it is still not there and Google has not recently made a statement about it. But I hope I'm wrong.

This course of action makes me question my full commitment to going for the Google Eco-system.

@Financewiz, @Breedbaard, thanks for posting. A few questions: may I know what Nest speakers do you have and are they now working as intended? Does your Android TV have a built-in Chromecast or a Chromecast dongle to it? It would be best to check out this guide on how to link your TV to your Google Home app. I'll be waiting for your response.

I am trying to cast from my android TV to nest speakers either through Bluetooth or wifi.

I have speakers set up on HOME Group

Can this be done?

Thank you for the reply. If you don't mind me asking, is your Android TV also a part of your speaker group? It would be of big help if you could double check this link: set up Google Assistant on an Android TV. Also, check out this guide for more information and troubleshooting and tell us how it goes.
