Is there any way to control devices added in Google Home with the tap of an NFC tag, rather than using the voice commands from Google Assistant or Google Home Speaker?

Thanks for confirming @David_K.

I had a workaround to trigger Google Assistant Command to control the devices. But, there's obviously some delay to it. So, just wanted to check if there is a built-in functionality available to control the Google Home devices.

Would have been great if we have an option in the Google Home Routines to setup the NFC as a trigger.

We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about NFC control for Google devices. That feature is not available. I understand that this would be a helpful feature, however this option is not available. We don't have the kind of function where NFC's are used as triggers to commands. There may be some workaround on the link provided above by davidking however, for built-in NFC tags on Nest devices, it's not available.
