We recently built a home. We have two ac units. One upstairs controlling only one zone and another in the basement controlling three zones using a Honeywell hz322. The multi zone unit fan runs constantly even when the furnace isnt fired up. How do I isolate and resolve the issue? We’re using 4 learning thermostats all together and have them controllable via nest app also

Hi Kyleumortensen,

Thanks for reaching out. Commonly, this might be caused by power issues that the system may need professional maintenance. For us to narrow down the issue, you can give answers to the questions below:

What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started?

Are there any messages you notice on the Thermostat or on the Nest App? If so, what are they exactly?

Do you notice any intervals or specific patterns between these strange behaviors?

When was the last maintenance check for your HVAC system?

Is this the first time you are activating cooling since the season changed? (Example: winter to spring)

Do they have a common ground wire or C wire?

Please check the power readouts on the Nest Thermostat settings below Technical Info.

I'm looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Jenelyn
