Nest doorbell cam

Have just installed my new doorbell cam and whilst love most of the functionality there is there that is making me think about returning it. I have an iphone and there doesn’t appear to be any way of changing the volume or sound of notification when someone rings the bell. I keep missing notifications as it’s so quiet and just pops up like a calendar reminder. Is there any way of making this louder or sound different.

While customers keep asking for more, Google Nest doorbell notifications are just standard notifications on our iPhones, with no options for a louder or different sound.

Hmm that’s frustrating. That sadly makes the door cam not as half as useful as it should be.

We use "Visitor announcements" on our Nest Hubs and Nest Mini. (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en).

I did, thank you! Looks like the only way I can get proper alerts or at least customise them is via a hole hub or speaker … at least until there is an update on the iphone . Thank you!
