How to get routine to broadcast message

I want to build a routine that can broadcast a message to all my devices with speakers when its done. I can set up a routine to say something just on the device that initiated it. And there are canned broadcast messsages I can use in the routine, but I cant seem to create a custom broadcast. Any ideas?

Hi KennyD1949,

Try adding an action to your routine and select the "Try adding your own - Experiment with custom actions' option.

Then type your broadcast message in the format below.

Broadcast "Hello world"

Thanks that worked. I had thought about this work around but you gave me the command structure that made it happen. But Google really needs an Events system akin to the Routines. So many sensors trigger things that must be relayed by voice alerts to the human.
