Setting up routines with broadcasts included

Is it possible to set up a routine with several broadcast alarms included?

I have several routines, but wanted to set up one in which I activate the routine by saying something. This in turn activates several broadcasts at certain time points. However I can only find that routines can be activated at certain times, not broadcasts.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community forum. We'd love to help.

You can set up broadcast alarms in the Routines by choosing the action called Communicate and announce. However, if you add multiple broadcasts to one routine, all of them will trigger once you activate your routine. For this not to happen, you would need to assign the broadcast messages to different routines.

You can also use Family Bell announcements, which I think are much more in line with your thoughts. This allows you to add the message and a specific time for the broadcast alarm to be announced on Google Home and Nest devices. Check out this article for more information.

Hello MMadelung,

Personal and Household routines are both supported in Danish. However, the Family Bell announcement is a feature that's only available in English US at the moment.

If you'd like Family Bell to be available in Danish, you can share your feedback with our product engineers, who continuously review and add new features that are suggested by our users.
