Google nest hub 1 and 2 compatibility

Hi there. Have got a Nest Hub 2nd gen and am looking to get another device to be able to use broadcast functionality. So can I buy a cheaper 1st gen hub and will they be compatible, or do I need to buy another Gen 2 please? Thanks 👍

We have a mixture of 1st gen and 2nd gen Nest Hubs, and can broadcast to all of them.

Hi there,

Yes all Google Home or Google Nest speakers and displays and some third party manufactured devices are compatible with the broadcast feature.
