I need help connecting my crome cast and the speaker. Its the cromecast smart home kit. I wanna be able to tell the speaker to turn on a movie or something and I can't get them to work together anyone have any ideas or helpful answers??

Setup your speaker:

Set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display - Google Nest Help

Setup your Chromecast:

Set up your Chromecast device (3rd gen or older) - Chromecast Help

If you have the newer Chromecast with Google TV model, follow these steps instead:

Set up Chromecast with Google TV and Voice Remote - Chromecast Help

Once both devices are setup, you'll be able to tell your speaker to play a movie on your Chromecast:

Control Google Nest or Home devices by voice - Google Nest Help

Refer to the Control TV or speakers section.
