Both Home Nest's have stopped "playing 3AW Melbourne" and won't play from radio app or any other. This started happening on 4/4/2023

We have found the same issue…very disappointed. Found some info re: Google having to stop certain functions due to a legal stouch b/t Sonos and Google Maybe the reason??

3aw stopped playing on my google mini as well. Don’t understand as I can get radio national.

Yes, mine also. Problem commenced on Thursday. It worked again briefly during the day. However, since Friday, unable to stream 3AW.

Same issue here, I've noticed of late the voice assistant has been terrible, on my connected devices, especially the nest Hub, the 3aw issue is new, so frustrating, when it says I don't know but here's what I found on the internet 😏

I emailed 3aw and they said google are aware of it and are trying to fix the problem. It’s to do with radio app it’s streamed through.

This is 3aw response -

Unfortunately 3AW is not currently accessible on some Google devices.

At this stage it appears a Google update has caused the issue. Commercial Radio Australia (which runs RadioApp - the app which our stations stream through on Google devices) and Google are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can still stream us via the 3AW app or website.

My work around has been to use the Radio app on my phone, click on 3aw, hit play and then cast it to my google device. Short term fix

As a regular user of Cast my Audio (audio books), the voice is usually crystal clear and it has not been since 4/4/23. Perhaps associated with the same problem?

We'd suggest sending us feedback through your Google Nest devices with the keywords "GHT3 Unable to play [Radio station] via [Radio partner]". This will give our team more details to work with.
