My nest thermostat constantly disconnects from the nest server but is connected to Wi-Fi. I have to restart thermostat to establish connection but it’s only temporary. I read in discussions that making a dedicated 2.4 ghz network for nest on your router works. Buy my Xfinity router does not allow for that. Does anyone have any other solution to this problem. As it stands now, this product is worthless to me.

Hello Jmiggy,

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your thermostat disconnecting from your Wi-Fi network. I'd love to know more about this.

Could you please tell us the type of Nest Thermostat you have?

How far away is it from your router?

Are you getting any message codes or reports on your thermostat or in the app?

Please check your thermostat's power readings by going to the Technical Info settings for the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E and Equipment settings for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Mark
