Google home routines not working

I have 7 lights that run off the grid connect app in conjunction with Google home/routines. Suddenly the routines no longer function.

Lights and scenes work fine in the grid connect app. I can also manually turn on/off individual lights with Google home but Google home routines no longer work according the grid connect scenes. It just says sorry I couldn't reach grid connect.

I have tried resetting router, reinstalling google home. Reconnecting grid connect to Google home, Hasn't fixed it. I have done experiments, I can successfully get routines to work if the actions of the routine are turning individual lights on/off but routines will not connect and run the preset scenes in grid connect like it used to.

Nevermind, it seems to be working now... again... until the next failure.
