Nest Offline

My nest hub only allows me to access it when I am in the wifi network. When I try to call away from home from my app, my nest displays "offline." Why is this?

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

You can call your Google Nest Hub using your Google Home app by using the Call Home icon on the Home screen. That's because you need to be on the same Wi-Fi network to be able to manage and make changes to your display.
