Why is my nest camera staying on 1% when its been charging for atleast an hr

Is the camera dismounted, with the USB cord seated tightly in the bottom of the camera, and with the charging cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera? Is the status light white, indicating it's charging?

Did you use the correct cable? Did you try plugging it in somewhere else?
