Why does the Google nest randomly speak in the middle of the night? I've been through the settings and cannot find anything that correlates to the problem. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried checking your Google Assistant activity history (in the Google Home app, tap account in upper right corner and tap "My Activity") to see what Google Assistant might be responding to?

I know how it feels when your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) randomly activates at night. Let's try to get to the bottom of this.

A few questions:

Does the Nest display regularly randomly false trigger or is this a one-off occurrence?
When did you first notice the issue? Was it after an update or has it always occurred?
Are you watching TV when the device randomly turned on? Was there a Google TV commercial playing at the same time watching TV when the device randomly turned on? Was there a Google TV commercial playing at the same time?
Where is the device placed? For example: By itself, up against the wall, next to a window, next to a TV or audio speaker.
Is there anything covering, touching, or intermittently brushing against the device?
