Help in calling devices and having them recognized

So this used to work but has since stopped. I am calling my hardware "including the name" asking to play BBC radio 2 or Spotify.... It now fails asking to supply the "device name" next time. I did supply the device name.

Senario, in the kitchen asking to play BBC radio 2 on the "kitchen Display"

What can I do to resolve this?

Removing and resetting that device to factory then adding worked but I should not need to go that. I think it was the new tv I added to the network which caused the issue on a historic device.
