Broadlink BLE not connecting

I've recently bought some smart lights which use the app Broadlink BLE, it comes up as an option under the google home app but even when I link them the lights don't show up on my home app?

has anyone had this issue?

Google Home can only control lights that use Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth and the device manufacturer needs to support Google Home. BLE stands for Bluetooth Low Energy.
