      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am really excited about this. This scripting engine would allow for full automation within the platform. Now my automations are spread over different solutions. Having said that, with tasker i have it setup that when someone presses the doorbell, the lights across the house flash in a red color x-amount of times.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now, when the lights are on at the time someone rings the bell, &lt;STRONG&gt;it will remember the initial color (or state)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;, flash that light in red and once the automation is over, it will return it to its original color. If the light was off, it will turn it back off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been over the docs but i don't see how i can get the current value of a lamp? Anyone has an idea how to do this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
