Unable to change volume on speakers with new Google Home script editor

I am trying to set the volume on three devices.

Chromecast with GoogleTV (we control the volume with the chromecast, not the other device)

Nest Audio Speaker

JBL Smart Speaker with Google Assistant

Obviously these are all in my google home.

the problem is it is telling me the volume level range is incorrect.

actions:
- type: device.command.SetVolume # Set the volume of a given device.
volumeLevel: 30
devices: Pool Radio - Pool

I have tried different combinations.

1, .1, 0.1, etc.

What is the correct syntax, or am I not able to set the volume on those devices yet?

Now it seems to work with that value. But there is no effect on my devices (Nest Hub 2 and Nest Mini).

So it looks like the CGTV takes a SINGLE digit number. that works.

But just like the person above me, the command is setup for the Nest Audio and the JBL Google Assistant speaker, but it wont change the volume, nothing happens.

Facing a related issue with Google Nest Minis, Speakers, and Displays. SetVolume appears to have no effect. I've verified my starters work by also having the automation broadcast a verification when triggered. However, SetVolume works for my TV and Google Chromecast.

my speaker volume routines started working a couple days ago. try now using "volumeLevel: 50" for 50% volume. ymmv since google tends to rollout stuff in waves
