When connecting the Google Chromecast 4K to a monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio, the screen is distorted.

Please apply the 21:9 aspect ratio properly on the Google Chromecast 4K as well.

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay. Does it happen when you are casting via an app or Chrome browser? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

Plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
Reboot your TV and Wi-Fi router.
Reset your Chromecast with Google TV (4K).
Try a different TV.
