can calendar events be automation starters?

The dream: cool down the house in time for a calendar event. Basically I want to set my thermostat with my calendar.

The new home automation script looks intriguing. But when I look at the complete list of starters, I can't find a way to connect or integrate with google calendar. (Zapier and IFTTT can successfully read calendar events as starters, but claim there are no actions available for Nest). What I'd really like to do is to say: two hours before any event in this calendar, set Nest to temperature T.

Did I miss something in the "starters" section? Does anyone know if this is possible?

If you pay for IFTTT this works - I had a nice integration going which set the lights as notifications of which of the bins are due, based on Calendar notifications.

Worked without trouble until IFTTT required you to pay for more than 2 integrations.

Zoek ik ook naar, heb niets gevonden. Lijkt me toch een logische feature. Vooral wanneer een werkrooster heb in bijvoorbeeld de zorg.

Idd. Ik heb het werkrooster van mijn vrouw (dewelke ik binnenkrijg via Excel) via een VBA gebruikt om een set van agenda-items te maken in Outlook, voor mijn tado-thermostaat (vb. als ze vroege heeft moet de tado aanspringen om 6:05 op 21° en stoppen om 6:45, wanneer ze vertrekt). Deze items exporteer ik naar .ics en dat importeer ik dan weer in een Google Calendar. Via IFTTT kan ik dan m'n tado laten aanschakelen. Deze reageert op de items in de Google Calendar
