Thinking about scripting multiple nest climate schedules

We have a 2 story home with a dedicated A/C for each floor.

We have a child here 2 days, then not here 2 days, then here 5 days, then not here 5days. (2255). The child room is upstairs.

We want to run a set of temps upstairs when the child is scheduled to be home, and a different schedule when they are away.

Is there a way to call out to a custom API where I could return True/False if the child is home? ... Or create a custom object that returns that property?
