Nest Hub Offline Mode

I purposely turn off my wifi at night, because it helps me sleep better.

I still want to see the time even if it's a boring clock.

I like that the Alarm still works.

Can We get Google to make this update?

Speakers and displays are designed as online devices that require Wifi and an internet connection to function, so I don't expect to see this kind of update, unfortunately. I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

Hi there,

It seems like your concern was already addressed. Like what David_K has mentioned, our Google Nest speakers and displays are WiFi enabled devices. They need to be connected to the WiFi (all the time) for them to work, and maximize all its features. We appreciate people who want to share their thoughts with us, we'll take this as feedback.
