Chromecast on a different t.v

I usually cast on my family room TV. But I have a second t.v as well. When I try to cast on my second t.v, it shows me only the option on the previous t.v, which is the family room t.v. In other words, I cannot switch t.v to cast something.

You need to share some details for anyone to help.

What kind of TV is the working TV (what operating system, not necessarily brand as many brands use different operating systems)?
What kind of TV is the 2nd?
How/what are you casting? Pressing Cast button in an app? Casting from the Google Home app? Etc?
Are both TVs on the same network? Casting can only see devices on the same network. If the 2nd TV is on a different network, it won't "exist" to casting.
Is the 2nd TV setup in Google Home? This may not be necessary, but it would clue us in to some behavior. If so, does it show online? Can you do anything with the TV in Google Home?
