Tamper alert will not clear from app

All of a sudden, my Yale smart lock started an alarm. I got a tamper alert on my Nest app, and now I cannot clear the tamper alert. I did change the batteries. Does any one have any suggestions on how to clear the tamper alert off the app so I can lock The door with my phone.

Thanks for posting in our Community. I’m sorry to hear that you're having issues with the Nest x Yale Lock. Let’s check it out.

To completely isolate the hardware issue, let’s reset the lock to factory settings. Follow the steps below:

To remove the lock from your account, on the Nest app home screen, select your lock, tap Settings, and Remove lock.
Factory reset the Nest × Yale Lock.
Add the lock back to the Nest app.

That answer, while right, sucks. Remove tampering from the app or as a meeting you can turn off.
