Dropcam install

Anybody had luck installing an older Dropcam camera? I tried using an app on my Android tablet and it eventually told me I had to install this camera on my PC using a USB cable; I attached the camera via USB, started the Windows app and it asks you to login in to Nest - I'm trying to login using my google account and I just end up getting lost in an endless loop of login using Google then login using Nest. Almost at the point of just chucking out the Nest products.

Thank you for posting in our Community. I’m sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up the Dropcam. Let’s check it out.

A few questions: do you have a Dropcam Pro or Dropcam HD? What is the color of the status light on the Dropcam? Have you already migrated your Nest account to a Google account?

To set up a Dropcam using a computer, you’ll need a MacOS or Windows computer that can run 32-bit applications.
