when my nest theromastat is in eco mode does it lower the fan speed on my AC

It shouldn’t. I never noticed that in the last 8.5 years of having Nest thermostats… the Air handlers were not impacted by eco mode. Eco mode only refers to temperature settings so that they are a bit higher in the summer and lower in the winter.

One thing I did notice is that if you have air wave on along with eco mode, fans will run longer while compresses shut off earlier. Hope this helps.
