I just discovered the Google Home app has an "Inbox". I reset my Chromecast from an account that's not even logged in on any Gapps. It seems to function as "a high importance" local events manager in the Home app. Little did I know. Should be very useful. 🙂

Way to go! You can check for items and alerts that need your attention by tapping the Inbox. You can also visit the article Meet the Google Home app, where you may also find other useful information for your needs.
