Why are Nest Devices still being sold?

Why is google continuing to sell Nest devices when they are no longer going to be supported? I have invested well over $1500 into nest devices, but they will no longer be in use. Seems so unfair. Google should reimburse all the customers’ expenses for the devices. Now I have to discard all of these devices and buy new devices from another manufacturer. Sure wish I had an ever invested in Nest devices!

Google Nest is only dropping support for Nest Secure, the old Dropcams introduced 10 years ago, and Works with Nest:

In our house, we have multiple Google Nest cameras, doorbells, and Nest Hubs for which support is NOT being dropped.

Yes I also have Nest thermostat, smoke detectors, door bell, indoor and outdoor cameras and of course Nest Secure. Good to know that at this time I only have to replace Nest Secure hub, and door and window sensors.
