Stream audio from chromecast to Google speakers

Hi,

So I was wondering if it is possible to stream the audio from Google tv (like Netflix series) to the Google speakers that we have (we have a Google Nest & Google Home). It is possible to stream music on Spotify from Google TV to the speakers, however we want to stream sound from Google TV to the speakers.

Can anyone help?

It's sort of possible but not seamless. If your using an app that supports it, yes. I do this with Plex and it works, but does not work for YouTube. Also only works if casting, not from a CCWGTV or other android tv device that's using an app
