I’m looking for some assistance in wiring for the Y2, F, X2, and W1 into the gen 3 system. I’ve been told this is compatible but trying to make sure before installing. I already own the Gen 3 from a previous house and the wiring is different.

Thanks for posting here in the Community. Based on the photos of the wires from your current thermostat, this is a heat pump system. This should be only compatible with 3rd Gen Nest Learning Thermostat. But could you please give us the make and model of your system since another wire for the fan control?

I have Gen 3 Learning Thermostat. Are you looking for the make and model of the actual HVAC unit?
