Adjusting multiple devices Routine

Before while setting up a routine you could adjust/add multiple devices at once. Now you have to add them individually and it takes forever to set up a routine.. who in their right mind at Google thought this was a good idea?

Does anyone know if Alexa is better at this? I'm extremely frustrated and thinking about switching from Google Home

You have autotext in Automation.

And for example, il you have several lights in the same room, you can use "[Room] - Lights" for an action on all of them.

It's not so long to script...
